The Video/Audio Adapters are designed for base band video and/or audio signal transmission over Category 5 UTP cable. Category 5 UTP cable is typically used for voice and data transmission rates up to 100 MHz. The adapter converts video and/or audio signals to a 100 ohm signal for transmission over Category 5 cables. Signal distortion is minimized by filtering high frequency noise at receiving end of the link.
